System Memberships
Behavioral health systems that provide mental health or substance abuse treatment services are eligible for NAPHS System Membership. Behavioral health systems are broadly defined as all behavioral healthcare operations under the same ownership or management in a defined regional, state, or national area. For a set fee based on the net revenue of all the system's behavioral health components, the system--along with all its behavioral healthcare components--becomes the NAPHS System Member. A System Member may be, for example, a corporation or a specialty psychiatric hospital that operates, owns, or manages multiple levels or sites of care. System Members may be organizations offering specialized levels of care (such as psychiatric units in general hospitals, partial hospitalization or residential treatment) that coordinate with the broader health delivery system. Check the appropriate box on the order form for more information and an application.

Individual Membership
A non-voting category of membership is available to individuals 1) whose organizations, subsidiaries, or affiliates do not qualify for any NAPHS membership categories or 2) who are employed by member systems and choose to hold a personal membership. Consultants, financial analysts, benefits planners, investors, healthcare providers, and others interested in the field are welcome to apply. Individual members receive all periodicals and are eligible for discounts on most meetings and publications. Check the appropriate box on the order form for more information and an application.
